We are looking for an experienced, organised, engaging and effective TA to work in Key Stage 2 with our wonderful children and dedicated team.

St Joseph’s is excited to offer wraparound care for our children and parents and this opportunity will enable the successful applicant to support teaching staff in making a real difference to the learning opportunities for our children during the day in a classroom setting and supervisors in providing creative play for wrap around care.

Teaching Assistant to Work 1:2

20 hours per week – 9:00am – 1:00pm

We are looking for an organised, engaging and effective individual to work with two children with additional needs to provide support within a group, whole class setting and 1:1 to meet individual targets.  The posts will be temporary in the first instance with the possibility of becoming permanent.  There may be opportunity to work additional hours/days to meet the demands of the school

We provide a friendly, secure and stimulating environment in which children can develop and achieve their full potential.  The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all members of staff. Experience or some understanding of children with varying needs including ASD and a positive attitude are essential skills for the role.

This is a temporary post to cover Maternity Leave

Every Afternoon (13.5 hours per week)

We are looking for an experienced, organised, engaging and effective HLTA to work with our wonderful children and dedicated team to cover PPA Time

across a number of age groups in the school.

Lunchtime Supervisor

5 hours per week, term time only

Midday – 1:00pm

There will be opportunity to work additional hours/days to meet the demands of the school

Pay Rate Grade 1 £16,394 - £16,495 (Pro Rata – Paid Term Time Only)

We are looking for an engaging and effective LTS to support our children during the lunch break. The general principle that children must be supervised at all times, both while having lunch and playing, in a suitable manner must be adhered to, thus securing the safety, welfare and good conduct of the pupils.

The role of the a LTS is to supervise children, supporting them with eating appropriately and socialising. The clearing up of spillages, wiping of tables and leaving the dining areas in a clean and tidy condition form part of the duties, but come second to supervision.
