We have a Breakfast Club and after school wrap-around care available to all children attending St Joesph's Primary School and Preschool. 

Places for Breakfast Club and clubs can be booked and paid for via School Gateway.

All clubs must be pre-booked. Please ensure that you sign up for these clubs (places unlimited!) at the office or via School Gateway.

Breakfast Club: 07:45am - 08:40am

Breakfast Club: £4.50 per session

At Breakfast Club, children will be offered cereal, toast and a variety of fruit. 

We have been extremely fortunate at St Joseph’s to have been able to offer families a largely
low-cost and flexible after-school provision for some time. We know how valuable this
support has been to many of our families. However, following recent staffing changes and a
reduction in our current staffing capacity, unfortunately this level of provision is no longer
sustainable.
From the week commencing 14th September, our after-school provision will finish at 4.15pm
each day.
Rather than offering a reduced childcare provision beyond this time, we have made the
decision to focus our available staffing on providing a high-quality programme of teacher-led
after-school clubs, running from 3.15pm–4.15pm each day:

 Monday – KS2 Choir with Miss Chatfield

 Tuesday – Art Club with Mr Dillon

 Wednesday – Teatime Club with Mrs Cameron and Mrs Wickens

 Thursday – Table Tennis with Mrs Hamilton

 Friday – Gymnastics with Miss Buckingham

Places will be strictly limited to 15 children per club and allocated on a first-come, first-served
basis. Children must be booked into their chosen club for the whole term, rather than on a
week-by-week basis, and will therefore be expected to attend each week.
There will be a small charge of £5 per club for the entire term, which will contribute towards
materials and resources. Places should be booked by phoning the school office, with
payment then made through School Gateway.
We ask that all children attending an after-school club are collected promptly at 4.15pm. This
is the end of our after-school provision and, due to the staffing limitations outlined above, we
will not have staff available to supervise children beyond this time. We would therefore be
grateful if parents and carers could arrive in good time so that all children have left the school
site promptly at 4.15pm.

• Terms and Conditions
• We ask that places be booked at least one week in advance. If sessions are required with less notice, please contact the school office. Please note that we require at least one week's notice to cancel sessions. If you have given less than a week's notice, you will still be charged for the place, including in the event of illness. Charges stand because the money has already been allocated for food and staffing.
• A late collection fee of £10 will be charged, in addition to the full session fee, for any children collected after 5pm. This cost is to cover paying two members of staff to stay late and supervise the child. If late collection is persistent, the child's place may be revoked. If the club supervisor is unable to contact anyone to collect the child after approximately 30 minutes, Social Services will be contacted.
• Places are subject to the school's behaviour policy and in circumstances of exceptionally poor behaviour, we reserve the right to withdraw a child's place.
• Kidz Care Club is part of St Joseph's School and the same policies and procedures apply.
