Food Bank Donations

Fatima class recieved a generous amount of donations for the food bank.
At the beginning of October, Fatima attended Mass to celebrate and give thanks to God for this year's harvest. Thanks to the children's remarkable letters to local shops and supermarkets, we received a generous bread delivery from the Bread Bin Bakery in Carterton, along with a significant donation of food and toiletries from Morrisons. Additionally, the children brought in many donations from home. We harvested vegetables from our garden and transported everything to the church. After Mass, the children took the food to the food bank (as much as they could carry!), where Lynn reminded the children of their hard work and how their contributions would assist those unable to shop for themselves. The remaining donations will support the food bank’s weekly openings on Mondays. This month, the children have demonstrated admirable dedication in fulfilling our school mission to care for the less fortunate.
