Catholic Schools Inspectorate

What is a Catholic Schools Inspectorate

A Catholic schools inspectorate is a Diocesan body that conducts inspections of Catholic schools to assess their quality and adherence to Catholic values, teachings, and laws. These inspections, which are separate from the state's Ofsted inspections, evaluate the school's Catholic life and mission, the quality of religious education, and collective worship.

The inspectorate also aims to support and encourage schools in their mission and development.
