Friends of St Joseph’s is a small group of parents, teachers and friends of volunteers who work together to raise funds for our school and enhance the experiences of all children who attend St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School. We are passionate about creating opportunities, supporting learning, and helping to make school life even more enjoyable for every child.

Throughout the school year, we organise a range of much loved events, including the Christmas Market, school discos, cake sales, sponsored events, and other family activities. These events not only bring our school community together but also help us raise valuable funds to support the children’s education.

Thanks to the amazing support from parents, carers, staff, and pupils, the PTA has been able to fund a wide range of resources and opportunities over recent years. These include:

• Building and running of our school vegetable garden

• School trips for multiple year groups

• New literacy books and classroom reading materials

• Learning resources to support classroom teaching

• Funding towards hatching chicks in school, offering a valuable hands-on learning experience for the children

• Ongoing support for future school trips and enrichment activities

We always welcome new members, fresh ideas, and volunteers even if you can spare just an hour now and again.
